History & Mission
Blank Tapes is an independent local music webzine that emerged in its current form in September 2024.
We craft interviews, reviews, and essays to support passionate, hard-working musicians in musical communities across North Carolina (and sometimes beyond). Our projects include a statewide artist/band directory, resource guide, a monthly local music column, and more.
Our goal is to combine our passion for music with tangible resources and support for every artist in the state.
